A quality I. Sorby 1 1/2” firmer chisel clearly marked “I. SORBY CAST STEEL” - from one of Sheffield’s most prestigious toolmakers.
This substantial chisel features a broad forged steel blade stamped with the maker’s mark and “CAST STEEL”, guaranteeing quality Sheffield steel. The turned wooden handle with brass ferrule shows attractive aged patina from decades of workshop use. The 1 1/2 inch (38mm) width makes this ideal for heavy-duty paring, chopping mortises, and general carpentry work requiring a substantial chisel.
