A beautifully preserved vintage Hohner “The Chromonica” 260 harmonica, made in Germany by M. Hohner. This 10-hole, 2½-octave chromatic harmonica includes the classic slide button for sharps and flats, allowing full chromatic play in the key of C.

A lovely collectible or playable example of one of Hohner’s most enduring chromatic harmonicas — perfect for blues, jazz, or as a display piece for harmonica enthusiasts.

Hohner Musikinstrumente GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of musical instruments, founded by Matthias Hohner in 1857. With it's roots in Trossingen, Baden-Württemberg, though known for its harmonicas, Hohner has manufactured a wide range of instruments. Nowadays, they producs harmonicas, melodicas, accordions and recorder flutes.

Excellent vintage condition — clean, bright chrome finish with only light signs of age. The harmonica and case have been lightly cleaned to remove grease and grime accumulated over the years. Slide button and reeds move freely; no sticking or corrosion visible. Tested and plays well across full range. There are some spots and marks as expected with age.
