Rare antique tin, for Thorne's Chocolate Butter Flavoured Dainties

Beginning as a mustard and chicory shop in the 1830s, Henry Thorne’s business grew to become a leading name in confectionery. By the 1960s Thorne was producing over two million pieces of confectionery a day. With their distinctive slogan 'Makers of the World’s Premier Toffee'. The factory in central Leeds finally closed in 1971 and was demolished.
Great for a den, man cave, set dressing, retail display or just use them to keep bits in.
Please note the tinn do show signs of age related wear. But has been lightly cleaned.
