Rare antique tin, for Mackintosh's Double Centre Chocolate toffee Assortment

Beginning in 1890, when John and Voilet Mackintosh set up a sweet shop in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Their Toffee quickly became a great hit. John 'The Toffee King' the built on this success and set up the World's first toffee factory in Halifax. When the factory burnt down in 1909, the moved the Albion Mills, Halifax, where Quality Street® is still made today.
Great for a den, man cave, set dressing, retail display or just use them to keep bits in.
Please note the tinn do show signs of age related wear. But has been lightly cleaned.
