Large hand made chessboard finished in leather, over a 1/2" (12mm) plywood base, with a solid oak edging. This is made to order and we will aim to to produce and dispatch as quickly as possible.

Each square is 3 1/4" (80mm), please choose one colour for the light and one for the dark. Due to variations in the hides available colours may vary from those shown. The last three images are for reference only.

The oak moulding is shaped to sit over the edge of the leather and will be waxed with a suitable colour to match your colour choices. The board is available in either a plain square or a classical moulding, please specify at the time of ordering. Available with or without feet. Complete with felt pads, to prevent scratches.

The board shown is in dark brown and taupe with a plain square moulding and is without feet.

PLEASE NOTE: This is for the board only. Please check our listings for which chess sets would suit this board. All measurements are approximate.

Please be aware that we send out parcels on a tracked and signed for service. This gives both you as the buyer and us as the seller piece of mind. Someone will need to be available to sign for your parcel. If you miss a delivery and don't collect your parcel or make alternative arrangements with the courier, your parcel may be returned to us. If we have to resend your parcel, we will need to charge you again for postage.
