This beautiful mid green coloured sea glass has been set with a 925 sterling silver bail and hung from an 18" 925 sterling silver chain.
Collected from the beach at Seaham in County Durham, UK; it reminds us of a pear!
Seaham was the home of Seaham Bottle Works from 1853 to 1921 and it's thanks to them that this beautiful sea washed gem was produced. During the years it was in operation the bottle works dumped tons of waste glass into the sea where it has been naturally tumbled and polished by the action of the waves and now washes up onto the beach as sparkling gems.
The glass could be up to 170 years old and each piece is as individual as you and me! So you are guaranteed to receive a one of a kind item of jewellery.
